Welcome to Inside Athens!

I am a Greek-American who grew up spending months in Greece, but mainly in Athens. I am a traveler that does not like always doing the typical tourist things, and this is what inspired this website right here. I hope to bring to the avid traveler, or even just the local, my personal outlook on Athens and what I deem to be some of the best places to eat, drink, relax, and have fun. Whether with your friends or alone, my guide is for the non-tourist. The person that wants to live like the average athenian. Someone who enjoys local spots as much as I do and exploring the many areas of the large city that Athens has to offer.

Being with my background, I was always used to my friends who were not from Athens saying they did not care for the city because they did not know it or spend time in it. The moment they would come and spend even one day with me, their minds were changed forever. I love this city so much and everything it has to offer, and my love for it is what I want to share with you!
